of this course students have basic computer skills.

My Word Processing 1
Students learn to create, format, and edit text.
Prerequisites: My Computer 1 & 2 or placement test.

My Word Processing 2
Continue learning foundational word processing skills. Students
work with tables and templates.
Prerequisites: My Computer 1 & 2, My Word Processing

My Internet 1
Introductory course familiarizes students with basic Internet
and e-mail use.
Prerequisites: My Computer 1 & 2 or placement test.

Students learn more complex Internet functions.

My Keyboard 1
– No prerequisites
If you do not know how to type, then this is the class for
you. The typing programs are fun to use and have a variety
of methods for learning the proper way to use the keyboard.

This course is a continuation of My Keyboard 1. The typing
programs are fun to use and have a variety of methods for
learning the proper way to use the keyboard.
Prerequisite: Completion of My Keyboard 1

My Power Point 1
This course teaches creation of a desktop slide presentation
using Microsoft Office Power Point software. In this course
you will create a slide presentation. This course is not for
the beginner.
Prerequisites: My Computer 1, Word Processing 1, or equivalent

My Spreadsheet 1
Introductory course teaches students worksheet basics.
Prerequisites: My Computer 1 & 2, My Word Processing
1 or placement test.

Adult and Teen Tech
Students learn basic computer repairs and problem solving.
Class meets for 3 hours one day a week for 6 weeks.
Prerequisites: None

College Prep Lab Time
This course will offer potential college students the opportunity
to practice for the SAT using online tutorials and learn how
to search for a college that is right for them using internet
resources. Students will be able to work at their own pace
in an open lab format.
Prerequisite: Ability to use the Internet

Digital Imaging
This course teaches techniques for working with digital images
on the computer. In this course you will work with images
in Microsoft files or from your personal digital images. All
personal images must be on a CD. This course is not for the
beginner.
Prerequisites: My Computer 1, Word Processing 1, or equivalent

My Web Design 1
Students learn the Microsoft FrontPage interface for developing
Websites.
Prerequisites: My Computer 1 & 2 or placement test.

Web Design Open Lab
Students have the opportunity to work independently on their
own Web project.
Prerequisites: My Computer 1 & 2, My Web Design 1 or
placement test.
