What does it cost to enroll in a course at
a Faith Tech Center?
There is not a monetary charge for Faith Tech Center courses. In
return for the classes, Faith Tech asks that participants volunteer
time in service to others. The focus and location of the service
is completely up to you – it can be done at the Faith Tech
Center, or at another community agency. Every Faith Tech Center
has information and ideas on ways that you can volunteer to give
back to your community.
Can I do personal work or homework at the
Faith Tech Center?
The primary purpose of the Faith Tech Centers is to provide technology
training to those who need it. Open lab hours are intended for those
enrolled in courses to hone their new skills. However, if there
are computers not being used by anyone currently enrolled in a faith
tech course, you are welcome to use them during open lab time.
What kinds of courses are available at Faith
Tech Centers?
Faith Tech Centers offer a wide variety of courses that vary in
skill level from beginner to advanced. Course themes range from
job training courses, academic courses and teacher-training courses
to courses about computer refurbishing and programming. Check with
your Faith Tech Center to learn more about course schedules and
registration.
